Everton player ratings v Brentford: Lindstrom, Beto horrible, O’Brien shines
Brentford and Everton played out a 1-1 draw at the G-Tech Community Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Yoane Wissa opened the scoring for the hosts late on in the first half to send his team into the break with a one-goal lead.
However, Jake O’Brien scored in the second half to ensure that the Toffees returned to Merseyside with a point.

Here are our ratings from the game:
Jordan Pickford – 5
Did have a nervy moment in the first half but made a couple of decent saves.
Jake O’Brien – 8
Some way to grab his first Everton goal as he headed home the equaliser after an impressive run from the back.
James Tarkowski – 6
Was solid in defence and carried the ball out well from the back.
Jarrad Branthwaite – 7
Maintained a 100 percent passing accuracy all game, per Sofascore, and was also solid defensively.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 6
Provided the assist for O’Brien’s goal and that was a reward for him constantly probing forward.
Idrissa Gueye – 7
Neat and tidy with his passing as he controlled the tempo well from midfield.

James Garner – 5
Did make a few errors in the middle of the park but none that were too costly for the visitors.
Jesper Lindstrom – 3
Struggled to beat his opponent whenever he tried and was also wayward and haphazard with his crosses.
Carlos Alcaraz – 5
Looked lively in the final third but his passing did let him down on a few occasions.
Jack Harrison – 4
He struggled to find much accuracy with his crosses and rarely looked to threaten the Bees’ backline.
Beto – 4
Was extremely wasteful in front of goal as he had multiple good chances to find the back of the net.

Subs
Ashley Young – 3
Didn’t do much for Everton after coming off the bench and also struggled to complete passes.
Tim Iroegbunam – 4
Much like Young, he did not offer much bar his energy.
