Everton open internal discussions to seal summer transfer
Everton have already begun their plans for the summer transfer window under David Moyes.
The Scotsman replaced Sean Dyche at the helm and will now be asking for new signings at the end of the season.
Ahead of their move to Bramley-Moore Dock, the Blues likely will want a decent squad capable of a top-half finish, potentially even challenging for a European spot.

Toffees begin talks to sign Tottenham owned Manor Solomon
Give Me Sport’s Ben Jacobs reported on 27 February that the Toffees are keen on signing Manor Solomon from Tottenham.
Currently, the Israel international is on loan at Leeds United but they do not have the option to buy him permanently.
That means that if they are to sign the 25-year-old, they will have to negotiate a fee with Spurs.
Everton have already begun their pursuit of Solomon and have held internal talks about his transfer.
Leicester City are also keen on signing the winger, but their Premier League status will hinge on whether or not the deal is expected to go ahead.

The Friedkin Group are likely to prioritise better signings for Everton in the summer
The Blues should steer clear of signing Solomon due to his injury history and the club’s pressing need for reliable, high-impact players.
The 25-year-old winger may have shown flair in the Championship but his time at Spurs was marred by injuries, limiting him to just six appearances in two years.
Everton’s squad already struggle with consistency and depth, particularly in attack and adding a player with a questionable fitness record risks compounding those issues.
Team | Position | Points |
Crystal Palace | 12th | 36 |
Tottenham | 13th | 33 |
Manchester United | 14th | 33 |
Everton | 15th | 32 |
West Ham United | 16th | 30 |
Solomon’s lack of proven Premier League pedigree with him yet to shine consistently at that level, makes him a gamble when the Toffees need guaranteed contributors to climb the table.
With new owners, the Friedkin Group taking over, their focus is likely to shift toward marquee signings who can elevate the club’s status, not Championship standouts with uncertain top-flight potential.
The Friedkins, known for ambition at Roma, will probably prioritise proven talents or high-ceiling prospects over Solomon, whose valuation could be better spent on players offering immediate stability and star power to match their vision for a revitalised Goodison Park outfit.
