Manor Solomon transfer: Kevin Thelwell update emerges as Everton want move
Kevin Thelwell could yet play a role in signing Tottenham forward Manor Solomon at Everton before his departure at the end of the season.
Thelwell’s contract at Goodison Park expires this summer, and The Friedkin Group (TFG) have decided to part ways with the Welshman.
Solomon is on loan at Leeds United right now but is being eyed by the Toffees after his impressive stint in the Championship.
TFG will arguably need to back David Moyes next summer after his recent successes and have already started preparing for new arrivals.

Thelwell has identified Solomon transfer at Everton
Thelwell identified Solomon as a target for the Blues before the Friedkins completed their takeover, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reports (12 March) that the Merseyside outfit are considering a move for the 25-year-old, with TFG ready to reinforce the squad next summer with several additions.

It has been claimed that even if one of Jack Harrison or Jesper Lindstrom is signed, the Toffees will still pursue another winger, and the Tottenham star is on their radar.
Everton have been scouting Solomon since December and will need to pay around £20million to seal his transfer.

Moyes needs transfer reinforcements at Bramley Moore Dock
Angus Kinnear will move to Bramley Moore Dock this summer from Leeds United, which could potentially give the Toffees an advantage in their pursuit of Solomon.
Moyes is flying high in the Premier League, and survival from relegation is all but certain now at the Merseyside outfit.
The Scottish manager has been influential since replacing Sean Dyche, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him take the Blues to the next level.
TFG should hand Moyes more control over transfers for the upcoming transfer window since Thelwell is leaving.
Iliman Ndiaye was one of the Toffees’ signings last summer, and the former Olympique Marseille star has been one of their best players in the current campaign.
Thelwell made the right choice by signing the Senegal international, and the Blues may as well take a chance on Solomon since the Welshman has identified him.
While bolstering the attack next summer will seemingly be necessary, whether a deal can be negotiated with Tottenham remains to be seen.
