Everton ‘can sign Liverpool gem’ amid ‘sensational’ £25m transfer news
Everton will have the opportunity to sign one Liverpool player this summer, with the rivalry between the two clubs not expected to be an issue
It isn’t very often that players make the move from Anfield to Goodison Park or vice versa.
However, with David Moyes set to lead the Toffees into Bramley-Moore Dock next season, it appears as though the 61-year-old is keen to make one Liverpool player a part of his plans.

Everton want to sign Scotland international from Liverpool
Moyes will be keen to improve his squad this summer, especially with uncertainty over several key players, one of those being Jarrad Branthwaite, whose Everton future remains up in the air.
However, despite the need for reinforcements at the back, it looks as though Moyes also wants to make additions to his squad further forward.
As reported by Alan Nixon (30 March), Everton are planning a “sensational raid” on Liverpool as they look to enter the race for Ben Doak, who is spending the season on loan at Middlesbrough.
Moyes is a big fan of the winger, who could be available for £25million in the summer, although only a handful of players have moved from Liverpool to Everton.

However, ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – doesn’t think the rivalry between the two clubs will pose much of an issue in any potential transfer agreement.
“It wouldn’t be the first time a player has gone from Liverpool to Everton,” King said.
“There have been far bigger names who have made that kind of move, so I don’t think that is a problem. What Everton need to focus on is whether this player is going to improve the squad.
“Is he going to make Moyes’ choices better than what they are now?”

Doak would be a smart signing for Everton
At the age of 19, Doak already has six caps for Scotland.
Therefore, it is clear that this is a player full of potential, and Everton would be wise to sign him, especially given his connection to the local area, which would make his transition much smoother.
