Everton ‘eye Ligue 1 star Emanuel Emegha’ amid Chelsea transfer twist
Everton are in the market for another striker this summer, with constant issues at Goodison Park in recent years.
Beto has been in terrific form in recent months, but Everton are still looking for ways to reinforce their front line.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin could depart after months of injuries, and this would leave Everton light upfront, but they will be presented with the opportunity to strengthen soon.
David Moyes now has his eye on one target, and Chelsea could indirectly help Everton secure his signature.

Everton ready to sign Emanuel Emegha
It has now been reported that Everton are eyeing up RC Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha.
Graeme Bailey has now told Everton News that the striker is on Everton’s list, and that Chelsea are not currently looking to bring him in from their sister club.
Stat | Emanuel Emegha |
Appearances | 56 |
Goals | 21 |
Assists | 4 |
Bailey added: “He’s very, very, very good. West Ham have been looking at him, but Everton have also been doing the rounds on him for a few weeks. He’s definitely an option.”

Emegha could be ideal for Everton
Emegha is a 22-year-old striker who has caught the eye after impressing at Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, and he could be ready to take the next step by joining Everton.
He is of a similar physical profile to Beto, and also has goals to his game, with 12 strikes in 23 games this season.
At 22, he will arrive as a player with a lot of room to develop, but with some senior experience under his belt, having already made 56 appearances for Strasbourg, as well as 36 for Austrian side Sturm Graz.
It is unclear what kind of fee would be needed to sign Emegha, but the Dutchman could potentially be a smart purchase for Everton as they begin their new era at Bramley-Moore Dock.
A big summer window lies ahead as Moyes will want Everton to push higher up the table in their first season at their new stadium, and an exciting young player such as Emegha could be the best kind of signing to make.
