Richarlison reacts to Everton win v Nottingham Forest amid transfer talk

Richarlison has been active on social media after Everton secured a late victory against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Brazilian has been linked with a return to the Toffees, who have been flying since the return of David Moyes to Goodison Park.

Everything good about the L4 club was summed up against the Reds as Abdoulaye Doucoure netted the winner with 94 minutes on the clock.

This has left a positive feeling around the Merseyside outfit, which hasn’t been ignored by Richarlison amid talk of a summer return.

There is no doubt that the 27-year-old was a fan favourite in his spell with the Toffees, as he consistently put a shift in while wearing blue.

This couldn’t be said of all of his teammates all of the time throughout his stint, but is certainly the case under Moyes right now.

The work rate and effort being shown by players under Moyes has been clear for everyone to see, and there is a feeling Richarlison could thrive in the current squad.

This has seen the Tottenham forward be linked with a return to Everton ahead of the summer and a move to the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

Although no move has gone through at this stage, the Brazil international has still reacted via Instagram (12 April) to the win away at Forest.

Richarlison has liked a post from match-winner Doucoure, who said: “What a feeling. We clearly deserved our victory. Enjoy your weekend Toffees.”

Richarlison could join Everton in summer

The Friedkin Group have come in and are preparing to oversee the move to the Bramley-Moore stadium ahead of the new season on Merseyside.

What the American owners are missing is a marquee signing to kick off their tenure in charge, and that could prove to be Richarlison.

The 27-year-old would undoubtedly be a popular addition among the Goodison faithful after a difficult spell at Tottenham since signing.

It is a positive to see him reacting to the win against Forest, which could subtly point towards a summer move to bolster the squad ahead of the new season.

This will provide ideal competition for the likes of Beto who’s goals have dried up in recent weeks despite a top start under Moyes.
