David Moyes key benefit to Everton revealed after ‘revelation’ at Goodison Park
Everton are already planning for next season as they take to the new turf at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The extended strategic period in preparation for 2025-26 can be credited in no small part to David Moyes, who has masterminded a euphoria among the Everton fans not witnessed since he was last in the dugout at Goodison Park.
Moyes has made the Toffees not only tremendously hard to beat, but also a team who can go toe-to-toe with anyone.
This has been exhibited by taking four points across three games against what was at the time the Premier League’s top trio, with Champions League hopefuls Manchester City and Chelsea up next.

Moyes experience post-Everton has helped rekindle Toffees
Many doubted The Friedkin Group when not even a month after completing their takeover of Everton, they sacked Sean Dyche and replaced him with the most familiar of figures.
Moyes achieved European football four times with Everton in his 11-year stint, which ended when he was selected by Sir Alex Ferguson to replace him at Manchester United, which didn’t end well.
The two stints at West Ham United will have helped, especially the guidance to the Conference League trophy in 2023.
TV commentator Ian Darke believes Moyes’ 12-year spell away from Merseyside has helped him become an even better manager, and Everton are reaping the rewards.
“Everton are playing with tremendous confidence, and you’ve got to give David Moyes a lot of the credit for that,” Darke exclusively told Goodison News.
“They have a lot more of an attacking flair about them, helped by the return of Iliman Ndiaye. They had a really impressive and deserved win at Nottingham Forest – they were a revelation.
“Moyes seems to be getting back to his best as a manager, and everything he’s learned since his first spell can benefit Everton.”

Goodison Park has only three games to go
As joyful and excited as Everton fans have been over the past few months – still an alien feeling to some younger fans who have endured only hardship until this season – the tears will soon be shed.
Goodison, the Old Lady, the shrine of Evertonians for generations, has only three games to host before its doors are locked for good.
