Everton ‘have all to play for’ as potential £11m PSR boost emerges
Everton may be safe from relegation but their season is far from over.
The Blues are aiming to finish the season strongly ahead of the move to the new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium as they say farewell to their famous Goodison Park ground.
David Moyes has taken the Toffees on a brilliant run recently, losing just two of their last 13 league games and that may prove vital after a potential financial boost emerged ahead of the summer transfer window.

Everton could benefit from £11m boost
Ipswich’s loss at Arsenal meant that Moyes’ side cannot be relegated, but it may be the start of a new battle that is just as important.
There are just two points between the Blues in 13th place and West Ham in 17th place, in what has essentially become a five-team mini-league in the Premier League.
Premier League | Played | GD | Points |
13. Everton | 33 | -6 | 38 |
14. Man United | 33 | -8 | 38 |
15. Wolves | 33 | -13 | 38 |
16. Tottenham | 32 | +11 | 37 |
17. West Ham | 33 | -18 | 36 |
Last season, Fulham, who finished in the position that the Toffees currently hold, took £22.5m in merit payments while 17th-placed Nottingham Forest received just £11.2m.

Friedkin Group need to back Moyes
The Friedkin Group need to support Moyes in the transfer market and help him to reinforce the squad to achieve his goals next season.
The Scotsman has spoken of his desire to take Everton towards European qualification in their maiden campaign at the new stadium.
If that is to be possible, there needs to be significant moves made in midfield and attack and there is several players, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Abdoulaye Doucoure, who are out of contract in the summer that may need to be replaced.
However, the Blues will be cautious until the 30 June deadline due to their previous Profit and Sustainability issues and the shackles may not come off until 1 July when the 2022/23 campaign is not taken into consideration anymore.
The potential £11m difference in prize money could be a major benefit for the Goodison Park outfit in terms of the PSR calculations.
One thing is for certain, a positive finish to the current campaign should give the Toffees momentum heading into the new season as well as the possible financial advantage.
