Everton ‘to agree cut-price Tom Fellows transfer’ after West Brom development
Everton are expected to have no issues agreeing a cut-price transfer for Tom Fellows after recent developments at West Brom.
David Moyes has guided the Toffees to safety in the Premier League and will already be thinking about his summer transfer plans, as talks with the Friedkin Group are expected.
A host of first-team players are out of contract this summer and could move on from Everton, including Idrissa Gueye, who is expected to sign a lucrative contract elsewhere.
As a result, reinforcements will be needed, and it looks as though a deal for Fellows will be pretty straightforward to agree after developments over the Easter weekend.

Everton ‘to agree easy transfer deal with West Brom for Fellows’
While speaking to EFL Analysis (20 April), Graeme Bailey reported that Fellows is expected to join Everton this summer.
And after what has happened at West Brom recently, it looks as though a transfer could even be sealed for a reduced fee.
West Brom 2024/25 | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Tom Fellows | 44 | 2 | 13 |
West Brom were beaten 2-0 by Coventry City in the Championship at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Friday (18 April) before suffering another league defeat on Monday (21 April), losing 3-1 against Derby County at The Hawthorns.
Tony Mowbray was sacked as a result, with the Baggies now incredibly unlikely to finish in a play-off spot. Therefore, ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – doesn’t foresee any issues for the Toffees as they look to sign Fellows.
“A transfer looks more likely now,” King said.
“I would imagine that the price will be reduced as well. West Brom can’t guarantee the player that he is going to play in the Premier League next season. Therefore, a move to Everton would be quite easy.
“It was a bad Easter weekend for West Brom. They lost both matches, and Mowbray left the club. Therefore, I’d imagine Fellows to Everton is a move which could be agreed quite easily.”

Everton must agree Fellows deal swiftly
If a deal is really as straightforward to agree as is being suggested, the Friedkin Group must look to get an agreement for Fellows across the line as soon as the transfer window opens.
That way, it allows the player as much time as possible to settle in, while Moyes and Everton can move on to other targets.
