West Ham ‘to accept £15m Tomáš Souček bid’ amid Everton transfer news

David Moyes is keen to reunite with West Ham midfielder Tomáš Souček at Everton this summer.

A host of first-team Everton players are out of contract at the end of the season.

As a result, major work will need to be done this summer, with Moyes expected to hold talks with the Friedkin Group about potential transfers.

And it appears as though a top target for the 62-year-old is his former midfielder, Souček.

Moyes wants TFG to sanction Souček transfer at Everton

Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucouré are both out of contract in the summer, with the former expected to sign an unbelievable contract upon his exit from Everton.

As a result, Moyes needs midfielders, with Souček thought to be keen on a move to Everton.

Souček has plenty of experience playing in the Premier League

As reported by Alan Nixon via his Patreon (27 April), Moyes is pushing to sign Souček from West Ham.

The Everton boss is hopeful that the Friedkin Group will give the transfer the go-ahead. The West Ham midfielder has two years left on his contract at the London Stadium, but could quit the Hammers this summer.

And ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes Graham Potter’s side would accept an offer of £15million for Souček.

“Souček is 30 years old,” King said.

“I think West Ham would accept an offer of £15m. He would be a good addition for Everton, it was Moyes who brought him to West Ham.

“They know each other well, and I think Souček enjoyed working with Moyes previously, so I’m sure he’d enjoy working with him again. He would be a good addition.”

Souček would be a smart signing for Everton

Everton will be keen to push on next season.

Souček is a player with plenty of experience in the Premier League, who also knows where the back of the net is. In addition, his previous relationship with Moyes would make his transition smoother.

Therefore, this could be a smart signing for Everton.
