Everton urged to seal Wilfred Ndidi deal for ‘snip’ after Leicester update
Everton are expecting a busy summer of transfer recruitment, as well as the departures of several of the old guard.
The new chapter at the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium is likely to bring with it a fresh page in terms of the outlook of the squad, as The Friedkin Group aim to demonstrate their ambition further.
It’s a strategy matched by David Moyes, who believes the Toffees could even achieve a season akin to that of Nottingham Forest, who turned their struggles of last season around to mount a Champions League challenge this term.

Everton urged to punt for ‘snip’ Wilfred Ndidi deal
Everton have been named among several other Premier League clubs as interested suitors for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
The Nigerian has exceeded 300 appearances for the Foxes, but is now likely to move on given a second relegation while he has been at the King Power Stadium.
Also pertinent regarding Ndidi’s future is the fact he has now seen a £9million release clause activated, triggered by Leicester’s measly drop back into the Championship.
TV commentator and football analysis expert Ian Darke, speaking exclusively to Goodison News, believes the Toffees should seal a deal which could act as something of a gimme this summer.
“I think for £9million, I can see why a lot of clubs would be interested in Ndidi,” Darke said.
“Like a lot of Leicester players, I don’t think he’s been in the kind of form we’ve seen from him in the past. But at his best, he’s a snip at that kind of money.
“Football clubs love a strong defensive midfield player, and he would be a good signing for quite a few clubs including Everton.”

Moyes set to shake up midfield amid contract dilemmas
Moyes is likely to prioritise his midfield given the situation with his current squad.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Idrissa Gueye, both now heading towards ‘veteran’ territory – particularly the latter – are both out of contract in the summer with their respective futures unclear.
James Garner has struggled with injury concerns and has just a year remaining on his deal.
Moyes has been linked with a reunion for his long-time West Ham United ace Tomas Soucek, given his performances in an ailing Hammers side this season.
It remains to be seen who wins the race for Ndidi, who is also being tracked by Brentford, Fulham and Crystal Palace as well as teams from around Europe (TBR Football, 29 April).
