Everton ‘to win Wilfred Ndidi transfer race’ after multi-million update
David Moyes is expected to have Wilfred Ndidi as a midfield option at Everton next season.
The Friedkin Group will be busy this summer with a host of first-team Everton players out of contract at the end of the season.
Two of those players are midfield regulars, Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucouré, with the former expected to sign an unbelievable contract upon his Everton exit.
Meanwhile, despite the expectation that Doucouré would be offered a new deal by Everton, nothing has yet been agreed between the 32-year-old and the Toffees.
As a result, it looks as though a new midfielder will be needed on Merseyside, and Everton have now been handed the perfect chance to sign Ndidi.

Ndidi has £9million relegation clause in his Leicester City contract
As reported by BBC Sport (29 April), Ndidi is available for £9m due to a relegation clause in his Leicester City contract.

However, ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – doesn’t think the Toffees have anything to worry about when it comes to the other clubs interested in Ndidi.
“I think they would win the race for Ndidi,” King said.
“Everton would be able to guarantee him first-team football, and if they can get a player of that quality and experience for that kind of money, it would be a great addition.
“This is a player who I think Moyes would like, and Premier League experience is important.”

Ndidi would be an excellent signing for Everton
Ndidi is an FA Cup winner with plenty of experience in the Premier League, and he is still only 30 years old.
Therefore, if Everton could sign him for £9m, that would be a fantastic bit of business, especially considering the Toffees’ recent financial struggles and the need for a new midfielder.
