Richarlison could become Everton’s first summer signing at Bramley-Moore Dock.

With little left to play for in the Premier League, Everton will have already drafted plans for the summer transfer window in order to get off to a good start in the new campaign.

Several players have already been linked with a move to Merseyside, and Richarlison has been one of them, having left the club in 2022.

The likelihood of a deal may hinge on what Tottenham can achieve via the Europa League, but the Brazilian seems keen on a return based on an Instagram story shared on his account.

Everton remain in the heart of Richarlison

Richarlison could be on the move this summer, and if so, the Toffees will be well placed to sign him, given the emotional connection over the years.

A £30million price tag has been set for the Spurs forward, and as per his latest post on Instagram, it’s hard to see him being against the move.

Via his story, Richarlison reposted a video of a flag showcasing the history of Everton, and front and centre of that is the Brazilian, with his post captioned with three blue love heart emojis.

If Everton can pull this transfer off, not only would it be a huge statement of intent, but it would massively bolster their attacking lineup, which has struggled throughout the campaign.

Everton have a huge summer ahead

Richarlison’s signing would be a big one, but the Toffees will need many more of that calibre to progress on the pitch after what has been a miserable few years.

Relegation battles have somewhat become the norm for Everton, and that will only change if recruitment improves, and in particular, if attacking reinforcements arrive.

The Merseysiders simply need to get every decision right this summer and ensure that David Moyes has the necessary tools to deliver success at Everton.

Four Premier League games remain for Moyes’ side, who will then turn their full attention to the summer window.
