Alexander-Arnold to Everton claim made on Sky Sports after official announcement
Everton were left disappointed by the manner of their 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The Toffees led 2-0 against the already relegated Tractor Boys thanks to goals from Beto and Dwight McNeil, but Julio Enciso and George Hirst ensured that Kieran McKenna’s men left Merseyside with a point.
Everton have now endured a three-game winless streak in the Premier League after previously suffering back-to-back defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.
David Moyes’ men will hope to bounce back with a win when they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham on Saturday (10 May).

Jay Bothroyd pundit jokes about Alexander-Arnold joining Everton
Trent Alexander-Arnold announced via social media on Monday (5 May) that he is leaving Everton’s Merseyside rivals Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Sky Sports News host Rob Wootton pointed out that Alexander-Arnold’s statement did not mention his reported move to Real Madrid.
Speaking on Sky Sports News [5 May, 10.10am], Jay Bothroyd joked: “Well he’s not going to Everton.”
That led to much laughter from Bothroyd, Wotton and fellow guest Sue Smith.
Moyes must get Everton back on form
Since returning to the Goodison Park dugout, Moyes has successfully extinguished the threat of relegation, ensuring that the Toffees will be a Premier League outfit when they move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
Evertonians have enjoyed the positive results Moyes has steered the Blues to in recent weeks, such as their 1-0 win over Champions League hopefuls Nottingham Forest on 12 April.
| Opponent | Result |
| Manchester City (H) | 0-2 L |
| Chelsea (A) | 1-0 L |
| Ipswich (H) | 2-2 D |
However, as the season draws to a close, the Toffees faithful will be keen to see the Merseyside outfit return to form.
The Blues have not enjoyed a victory since their triumph at Forest, and will be eager to beat Fulham in West London next weekend, while Marco Silva’s men have lost three of their last five fixtures.
Everton will be particularly keen to beat already relegated Southampton in their final game at Goodison Park on 18 May.
Moyes will want to finish the current campaign on a high as he looks to lay the foundations for a strong season at Bramley-Moore Dock next term.
