Beto exit: Sky Sports journalist drops £100m+ update as Everton star wanted
Beto has once again been linked with a move away from Everton as fresh interest has emerged ahead of the summer.
The 27-year-old has been a regular member of the side since the introduction of David Moyes after a turbulent winter window.
After looking destined for a departure from Goodison, the Guinea-Bissau international remained and went on a superb run in February.
Since then, the goals have dried up, and now an exit could be back on the cards with the summer transfer window looming on Merseyside.

Beto once again linked with Everton sale
The man signed for a sizable fee from Udinese, but has largely failed to live up to the expectations of the L4 faithful since moving to the Premier League.
With that being said, the forward has tended to put in a positive shift and look to do his utmost for his teammates when afforded the chance to play.
This saw his goal output flourish after Moyes came in, seeing him net five goals in four games before once again hitting a dry spell.
Date | Team | Goals scored |
01/02/25 | Leicester City | 2 |
12/02/25 | Liverpool | 1 |
15/02/25 | Crystal Palace | 1 |
22/02/25 | Manchester United | 1 |
26/02/25 | Brentford | 0 |
As a result, a sale may prove to make sense for the Toffees with Leeds United now showing an interest in the forward, according to Sky Sports journalist Rob Dorsett (7 May).
The newly promoted Whites are said to have a transfer budget of over £100million for the summer, with Beto emerging as an early target.
As it stands, it remains unclear whether Moyes would want to part ways with the striker as he currently sits as joint top scorer at Goodison this season.
This is especially the case for the Scottish head coach, who could be set for a huge reorganisation task as 15 players look set to leave L4 at the end of their contracts.
Beto sale could fund summer business at Everton
As much of a blow as it could be to the Toffees to lose the striker in the summer, his sale could prove to be a catalyst for a positive few months.
Even with the introduction of the Friedkin Group, there is likely to be PSR issues rumbling on in the background for the American owners.
This was certainly the case last season when Tim Iroegbunam came in from Aston Villa while Lewis Dobbin went the other way.
As a result, a sale of Beto could be utilised in the coming months to help fund other deals throughout the summer for Moyes to build a squad in his image.
It is unclear whether the former Manchester United boss even wants to sell the striker in what could make for an interesting transfer saga on Merseyside.
