Leicester fire sale update as Everton eye Victor Kristiansen transfer already
Leicester City defender Victor Kristiansen could soon be wearing the blue of Everton, keeping his Premier League status if he does.
David Moyes is hoping to strengthen his squad this summer to help build on his strong start at Goodison Park, ahead of the move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
New defensive additions are seen as necessary after James Tarkowski’s injury, with Jake O’Brien forced out of position and age taking over elsewhere.
However, a deal for Kristiansen may not be easy, despite the Foxes’ relegation and PSR worries.

Leicester insists ‘no players will leave for cheap’ to Everton
To help reinforce their defence this summer, Everton are looking to bring in Kristiansen from Leicester.
The Danish international full-back has been one of the bright sparks at the Foxes this season despite their relegation to the Championship.

However, Sky Sports has reported on 8 May that Leicester will not have a fire sale this summer.
The broadcaster states that the Foxes are willing to listen to offers for their stars, but the East Midlands club insists that they “will not leave on the cheap”.

Everton must not be held to ransom by English sides
In recent years, it has become clear that English sides are prepared to hold out for big bids for their stars.
Even upon relegation, some fees can be substantially high despite better players being available elsewhere.
Just look at Leeds last summer, bringing in over £100million for Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville despite a year in the Championship.
This is something that Everton must not get sucked into. Despite Kristiansen being a good player, there are plenty of good options available abroad who may be cheaper than the full-back.
Hopefully, Moyes and the Friedkins recognise this and broaden their horizons this summer to find potential bargains elsewhere.
With PSR being a growing concern throughout the Premier League, it is now more beneficial than ever to look abroad.
