The Esk blown away by what he saw off-pitch in Fulham v Everton – ‘Magnificent’

The Esk was stunned as Everton earned a 3-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Everton put an end to their three-game winless run with a well-deserved win against Marco Silva’s side in the Premier League on 10 May.

The Toffees feared another disappointing result after Raul Jimenez put Fulham in front just 17 minutes into the game, but David Moyes’ side managed to pull off a stunning comeback.

Vitalii Mykolenko drew level for the Goodison Park outfit just before half-time, with goals from Michael Keane and Beto then sealing the win.

The Esk wowed by Everton away support at Craven Cottage

Pundits and fans were blown away by Everton’s win against Fulham, with Alan Myers among those reacting to how things unfolded at Craven Cottage.

However, The Esk’s attention went elsewhere, as he was impressed with the way the travelling supporters backed the Merseyside-based club at the capital.

Paul Quinn, who goes by The Esk, was so blown away by the away fans that he described their support as ‘magnificent’.

“Come on you Blues. The Everton support has been magnificent today”, Quinn wrote on his personal X handle (10 May).

Moyes turns attention towards Goodison Park farewell

With that, Everton have moved to 13th place in the Premier League, which is quite remarkable considering they were battling relegation at the turn of the year.

It is a testament to Moyes’ tactical acumen that the Merseyside-based club are in a comfortable position with two games still left.

Having returned to winning ways after a three-game winless run, the Toffees will now look to bid adieu to Goodison Park in a perfect manner.

The Blues are set to play their final match at the celebrated stadium before moving to the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium against Southampton next Sunday, 18 May.

They will then face Newcastle at St. James’ Park in their final match of the season on 25 May.

Everton are notably in for a big summer of change, as they prepare for their first major transfer window under The Friedkin Group.

Therefore, Moyes will be determined to end the season on a high.
