Everton man set to join Middle East club as Goodison exit confirmed

Everton are preparing for a busy summer ahead and there are expected to be a lot of changes with the playing and non-playing staff.

The Friedkin Group are preparing for their first summer transfer window since completing the takeover at the end of 2024.

Angus Kinnear has walked through the door from Leeds United, while Kevin Thelwell has left to join Rangers.

Gareth Prosser set to join Al Jazira

On Friday, the Toffees announced that their Academy Director Gareth Prosser will be leaving to pursue an opportunity overseas.

He moved to Goodison Park back in 2022 and has been heading the academy since then.

Prior to that, he also spent over 10 years at Wolves and another six years working with the Premier League in Asia and Africa.

However, he’s now set to take up his first assignment in the Middle East.

According to Training Ground Guru, Prosser will be moving to the United Arab Emirates to join Al Jazira FC.
