Michael Ball a big fan of £12m Everton transfer as more deals targeted
David Moyes is set to continue his transformation of Everton this summer, with the backing of The Friedkin Group.
The Scotsman turned everything around at Goodison Park this season and, as the Toffees look to kick off their new era, there is plenty of work to be done.
The exits of several players from Merseyside have already been announced, with Moyes thinning out his squad before adding to it.
It is the first transfer window in some time that the Blues are able to properly invest, meaning some exciting business should lie ahead for the Merseyside outfit.

Everton have Carlos Alcaraz call to make
As Everton start by sorting out their internal affairs, Moyes has a decision to make on the future of Carlos Alcaraz.
The Toffees signed the midfielder on loan from Flamengo during the winter transfer window and have an option to buy this summer.
An automatic buy could have been triggered, but the 22-year-old did not make enough appearances by the time to season ended for that to happen.

It has been reported that the Blues will have to act fast, though, if they do choose to make a move for his services, with the option to buy only being valid until the end of May.
Those on Merseyside were previously said to be impressed by Alcaraz and after his goal against Newcastle on the final day of the season, surely that is still the case.
Former player Michael Ball is seemingly impressed too, as he wrote in the Liverpool Echo (28 May): “I was pleased to see the club is exploring a deal for Carlos Alcaraz. I think he has done well since he arrived in January and, given his price tag seems to be around £12m, that would represent good business.
“Everton need to target early deals and they need to be savvy. For a good price, Alcaraz is a player who knows Everton, knows Moyes and knows the teammates that will remain beyond the end of June.
“That is all positive. For Everton, they know they will be getting a player who has shown he can make a difference in Premier League games.”

Everton should sign Alcaraz
As Ball says, Alcaraz has been convincing in what he has done at Everton so far and given he knows the environment well, it is surely a no-brainer.
The Friedkin Group can spend some money this summer, but they will want to spend wisely, too, to ensure that they are creating a sustainable project on Merseyside.
Moyes has not been quiet about his desire to make his side younger and fresher and the 22-year-old is clearly someone who fits that bill.
