Everton table mega bid to seal Thierno Barry transfer as Moyes update drops
Everton are pushing hard to sign a new striker this summer.
After failing with a move to sign Liam Delap, who has since joined Chelsea, Villareal wonder Thierno Barry is now on the agenda.
Doubts continue to surround the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is said to be keen on a move to Italy, with Beto also attracting heavy interest.
That could leave the door wide open for Barry to come in.

Friedkins ready to splash cash on Barry
Everton have now tabled a bid in excess of £25.4million to sign the Villareal star, according to Marc Mechenoua.
The former Le Parisien journalist has reported that Barry is a priority for David Moyes, despite no agreement being reached.
Moyes wants Barry at Everton now
Despite the first phase of the transfer window coming and going with nothing of note from Finch Farm, Premier League clubs will remain busy.
The window opens again on Monday (16 June), but clubs can still announce deals during this small break, just without being able to register those players.
Everton have no interest in the Club World Cup, so this break should mean very little to them.
With Angus Kinnear and his team now in place ahead of the move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it appears Moyes has instructed them to go all in on Barry.

After 15 goal involvements in La Liga this season, the Premier League could be calling.
Calvert-Lewin may not be the only casualty in the final third for the Blues, with Armando Broja returning to Chelsea and Beto attracting significant interest from Leeds.
Moyes will know that he cannot go into a Premier League season, the first at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, without a big-name striker, and although Barry is inexperienced, he could relish that.
With big money now on the table, the ball is in the court of Villareal, who may cash in under pressure from Barry, ready for another massive move.
All eyes are on Everton, who have now put their foot down to start their summer business.
