Everton news round-up: Grealish fancies transfer as mega-money deal struck
Everton are expected to be busy now that the summer transfer window has reopened, with news regarding a move for Jack Grealish refusing to go away.
Indeed, a handful of players have been linked with moves to the Toffees this summer.
Here, Goodison News presents a round-up of the biggest Everton news from the past 24 hours.

Everton ready to bring Fred to Merseyside
David Moyes looks set to add former Manchester United midfielder Fred to his first-team squad.
Everton have reportedly offered more than £15million to Fenerbahce for the Brazilian.
Fenerbahce had previously announced their reluctance to sell, but they now believed to be seeking out replacements for Fred in the heart of the midfield.
Toffees prepared to swoop for Tagliafico
Lyon left-back Tagliafico is another player believed to be on Moyes’ radar.
The Argentinian defender was part of the squad that lifted the World Cup in 2022. He made 24 appearances for Lyon, but the French club will be available on a free transfer as his contract is expiring this month.
The 32-year-old would provide competition for Vitaliy Mykolenko’s place in Everton’s starting XI.
Everton target Grealish believed to prefer a move overseas
Jack Grealish is a player who has been linked with a move to Everton for most of the summer.
The England midfielder has been struggling for minutes at Manchester City and was even left out of their squad for this summer’s Club World Cup.
However, talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook has reported that Grealish fancies a transfer to Serie A over the short move to Bramley-Moore Dock. Napoli are supposedly preparing a bid for his services.
That transfer would be seen as a major loss for Moyes, who is keen to add some more creativity to the Everton midfield.
