David Moyes is set for a very busy summer at Everton, with question marks still remaining over a number of key men such as Jarrad Branthwaite.

As a result, there are several names linked with the Toffees daily, but there could also be significant departures too, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin among the potential exits.
Here, Goodison News rounds up the latest updates on the Blues from 21 June.

Everton eyeing ‘next Kante’ as £9m development emerges
Everton are interested in Valentin Atangana but face competition from several Premier League rivals for his signature.
A report from Give Me Sport (20 June) claims that the likes of Leeds United, West Ham and Crystal Palace are also in the race for the 19-year-old.
It states that he has been dubbed as the “next N’Golo Kante” and the French club are understood to be looking for a fee of £9million.
Woltemade contract update amid Everton interest
Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade has been linked with a move to Everton in recent months.
The 23-year-old is under contract until 2028 with the Bundesliga outfit and their sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, is confident that they can extend his deal.
He told German outlet Bild (20 June): “It’s a slow season again. We’re following the news, of course. But at this point, everyone can rest assured. Nick’s immediate future is regulated by a three-year contract with VfB Stuttgart.
“Any discussions with Nick’s management are not about clarifying his sporting future, but rather about us wanting to contractually express our appreciation for his outstanding sporting development.
“I’m very confident that we will bring the discussions to a successful conclusion.”
Branthwaite update shared by ex-Moyes ally
Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite is attracting significant attention in the summer transfer window from the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham.
However, the Blues want to keep their star man and have entered contract negotiations and ex-Goodison scout Bryan King believes that he could be offered £150,000-a-week to stay.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News (20 June), he said: “Moyes wants to keep his best players.
“Branthwaite is definitely one of Everton’s best players, and he is also homegrown. He’ll be an essential part of the rebuild under Moyes.
“Therefore, I’d imagine he will be made a very good contract offer. Based on the kind of money Everton want for Branthwaite, they’ve got to be offering £150,000-per-week to the player.”

Everton Women to lose Sara Holmgaard
Everton Women are set to be without Sara Holmgaard next season.
The Blues announced (21 June) that the 26-year-old will depart when her contract expires at the end of this month.
The news will be a huge blow to Brian Sorensen as the Danish star was one of his most crucial players as they finished eighth in the Women’s Super League.
