Everton sent Jack Grealish transfer message as ‘signing on the cards’

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Jack Grealish this summer as he’s out of favour at Manchester City.

Last season, the England international made just seven Premier League starts, playing only 713 minutes over 20 games.

Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has explained whether this may cause any issues further down the line with regards to his fitness.

Grealish’s groin injury may be a concern

The Toffees may take a closer look at the healing of his groin injury before making a decision to sign him, according to Dr Brar.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Grealish: “Everton may take a closer look at the healing of the groin injury that plagued him for an extended period of time.

“Further, will need adaptation time as he hasn’t played much over the last one and a half season.

“That is obviously concerning and that would need to be factored in before making any decision.”

Everton would undoubtedly strengthen their side by signing Grealish

Signing Grealish could be a transformative move for Everton this summer.

The 29-year-old Manchester City winger, despite limited starts in 2024/25 brings proven quality and versatility.

His flair, dribbling and ability to create chances would add a creative spark to Everton’s attack, which has struggled for goals.

Grealish’s experience, with three Premier League titles and 39 England caps, offers leadership to a young squad.

His work rate off the ball suits David Moyes‘ high-intensity system, while his ability to play across the front line provides tactical flexibility.

With City open to a sale, Everton could secure a high-calibre player at a reasonable price, boosting their chances of a top-half finish.
