‘Walker-Peters want £20,000-a-week personal terms from Everton’
David Moyes is intent on strengthening his Everton side this summer.
With a deal for Thierno Barry seemingly imminent, Everton’s summer transfer business is well underway, having already secured the permanent arrival of Carlos Alcaraz at the start of the window.
However, the Toffees will only just be getting started, as TFG look to provide Moyes with the tools needed on Merseyside to progress next season.
Taking that into account, Everton have been linked with a move for Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, with a fresh update emerging on the deal.

Everton ready to sanction defensive transfer
The number one priority for Everton this summer was a new striker, and that was only amplified when Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s exit was officially confirmed.
Barry looks set to address those concerns, though a new priority has emerged for Everton under Moyes.
A report from Sportsboom (2 July) states that the addition of a new right-back is now the target for Moyes, who has turned to Walker-Peters after missing out on the signing of Kenny Tete.

The 28-year-old will be available on a free transfer following his exit from the Saints, with Everton, Sunderland and West Ham among the sides to have registered an interest.
It is believed that Walker-Peters would command a wage of around £20,000 per week, leaving the Toffees with a no-brainer decision to make this summer.

Everton must be smart in summer window
Walker-Peters would be an excellent piece of business for any Premier League club, and that is the calibre of player needed at Everton if they are to progress.
His arrival would come with no risks, yet great potential, while also providing the Toffees with depth in several positions.
If this is a deal that can be achieved, Everton need to go all out to secure it and address one of the concerns they have had over the last few seasons with squad depth.
