Harrison reacts as Everton announces new agreement

Jack Harrison has reacted after Everton announced Michael Keane’s new contract.

The Blues took to Instagram (4 July) to confirm that the defender would be sticking around after his contract expired on 30 June.

Harrison, who departed on that date after his loan spell expired, reacted by liking the post alongside Jordan Pickford and Dwight McNeil.

New Beto exit verdict emerges at Everton

Beto has been linked with an Everton exit this summer, with Leeds interested in a transfer for the striker.

However, former Goodison Park scout Bryan King believes that the Guinea-Bissau forward will stay on Merseyside, rather than moving on to a new chapter.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News (5 July), he said: “Everton have lost Calvert-Lewin.

“Therefore, I’d imagine they’re going to keep Beto – that could be quite a good pairing up front, Beto and Barry. It will give Everton another option, that will be the thinking from Moyes.

“That’s how Moyes works, he wants competition for places in the squad. I don’t think there is a necessity to sell; they seem settled financially, and they’re going to generate more revenue from the new stadium. I don’t think Everton have to sell at this moment in time.”

Everton readying £43m Gallagher move

Everton are reportedly eyeing a move for Conor Gallagher, the former Chelsea midfielder and England international.

It states that a considerable offer could lead to Diego Simeone’s side allowing him to leave despite the fact that he is seen as a key player.
