‘Everton have Richarlison transfer opportunity’ after Thomas Frank demand

Tottenham striker Richarlison could potentially demand a transfer to Everton this summer.

The Brazil international left the Toffees in 2022 after four impressive years at Goodison Park, but has failed to live up to expectations in North London.

David Moyes could have Richarlison in his ranks for next season, as the 28-year-old’s return to the Blues has been suggested.

Thierno Barry completed his medical at Finch Farm and has been announced as the Merseyside outfit’s first signing of the summer, but another centre-forward may be on his way in the coming weeks.

Everton transfer for Richarlison on cards as Tottenham target Brentford forward Yoan Wissa

Tottenham are considering a move for Yoan Wissa in the ongoing transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The journalist revealed on X (9 July) that Thomas Frank is keen on reuniting with the 28-year-old centre-forward at Spurs this summer.

It’s been claimed that Wissa is open to signing for the North London outfit, leaving Richarlison with a potential decision to make over his future.

The Brazilian striker has struggled for game time at Tottenham in recent months, and consistent injuries haven’t helped his cause.

Dominic Solanke was Ange Postecoglou’s preferred number nine last season, and Wissa’s possible arrival may lead to the former Fluminense star dropping further down the pecking order.

As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the 28-year-old open the doors on an exit, which may allow the Toffees to further bolster their attack.

Moyes should consider bargain Richarlison transfer at Bramley-Moore Dock

Moyes has admired Richarlison for a long time, and this could potentially be the perfect time to get the Brazil international back to Merseyside.

Everton are seemingly reluctant to spend big on the Tottenham forward, with the North Londoners wanting around £45million for him.

It makes sense for the Toffees to be wary of investing a significant sum in the 28-year-old due to his fitness issues over the years.

Although if the Blues can come to an agreement with Spurs for a bargain transfer, then Moyes should push them to sign Richarlison, as he needs more options up front after losing Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
