Everton ace Iliman Ndiaye reacts as West Ham finalise new signing
Everton’s transfer window has mostly been about keeping hold of their best players.
The Toffees have been in negotiations with the likes of Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane and Idrissa Gueye, who all had contracts expiring this summer.
They have also tied down Jarrad Branthwaite on a lengthy new deal.
Since then, they have been able to focus on bringing new signings, such as Thierno Barry and Mark Travers.
However, most Everton fans will agree that more new signings are needed if they want to improve on last season’s Premier League finish.

Ndiaye reacts to new West Ham signing
Illiman Ndiaye is a player that Everton will be desperate to keep hold of.
The Senegalese winger was the top scorer last season in a team that struggled for goals.
He also starred in a Senegal team that beat England 3-1 after the domestic season finished.
David Moyes would surely want to build his attack around Ndiaye rather than sell and replace him.
Ndiaye still has four years on his Everton contract after arriving from Marseille last summer, so there’s no danger of losing him on a cut-price deal.
Even so, Ndiaye is keeping an eye on other transfers happening in the Premier League. He recently ‘liked’ a post on Instagram announcing fellow Senegalese star El Hadji Malick Diouf as West Ham’s latest signing.
Everton need to continue building a squad to thrive in the Premier League
David Moyes did a remarkable job of improving Everton’s form when he returned for his second stint as manager.
Few would have bet on Everton racking up 48 points when Sean Dyche was sacked in January.

Moyes will be pleased that some of his biggest stars have signed new contracts, plus the signing of Villareal striker Barry looks like a real coup.
There’s a lot more work to do, though.
Many of Everton’s Premier League rivals have strengthened well this summer and Moyes will be hoping to do the same.
The Toffees still look short in attack, even with Ndiaye and Barry on their books, while Gueye could use some support in midfield.
Everton have a brand new stadium waiting for them when the Premier League season starts. Now is the time for Moyes to build a team worthy of playing in it.
