Omari Hutchinson ‘given green signal’ for Everton transfer

Everton have been linked with Ipswich Town winger Omari Hutchinson in the summer transfer window.

Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has gauged his muscle issues from last season ahead of a potential medical in the coming weeks.

Other clubs have also been linked with the 21-year-old following Ipswich’s relegation to the Championship.

Hutchinson to clear medical despite muscle injury issues

Despite his fitness issues last season, the English winger is expected to clear his medical this summer, according to Dr Brar.

Everton are considering entering talks for Hutchinson, but will have to pay north of £35million to secure his services.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Hutchinson: Everton may take a closer look at the recent spell of muscle injuries over the 24/25 season to assess the risk of recurrence and determine if there are any outlier or high-risk issues.

“They may also gauge his pre-season metrics and make an informed decision.

“However, I see no issues with his fitness to cause him to fail a medical.”

Everton cannot afford to overpay for Hutchinson

Everton’s potential £35million+ Hutchinson is an overpriced gamble that overlooks better-value wingers suited to their needs.

Hutchinson, 21, impressed with 11 goals and 6 assists in the Championship, but his limited Premier League experience and inconsistent end product don’t justify the inflated fee, especially with the Toffees’ prior financial issues.

His physicality is also far from ideal, making him a liability in that aspect.

Instead, the Blues should scout wingers from leagues like Ligue 1 or Eredivisie who offer proven output, versatility, and better value to bolster their attack without breaking the bank.
