Everton’s best ever away kits as 25/26 shirt officially revealed

Everton have officially unveiled their away kit for the 2025/26 campaign.

The Toffees are looking to build on a strong finish to the season under David Moyes, and they will do so in style with an elegant design on the road.

Castore have proved a controversial kit manufacturer, but they have smashed it out of the park on this occasion, with a pastel yellow effort with blue detailing and a collar.

1985-86

Everton finished second in the First Division and runners-up in the FA Cup in the 1985-86 campaign.

Their away kit was arguably the greatest that they have ever had.

The yellow effort had blue collar and sleeve accents, a real thing of beauty produced by Le Coq Sportif, worn by the likes of Gary Lineker and Peter Reid.

1992-94

Everton struggled on the pitch in the period between 1992 to 1994, but their away kit was one of the saving graces.

While the Blues finished 13th and 17th in the Premier League, they did so in style with a stunning blue striped effort.

The likes of Tony Cottee and Dave Watson donned the shirt with the iconic NEC sponsor, and the Toffees would recreate it for the 2023-24 campaign.

2010-11

The 2010-11 effort from Le Coq Sportif was a controversial one.

It was bright pink with a navy band on the chest, which drew considerable mocking from rivals.

Tim Cahill and Louis Saha were amongst the players to wear this strip, and history may reflect on it favourably, despite the negative reaction at the time.

On the pitch, the Goodison Park outfit finished seventh and reached the FA Cup fifth round.

2012/13

Nike became the Toffees’ kit suppliers for the 2012/13 campaign, and their first away kit was brilliant.

The black and yellow design was striking, and the Blues enjoyed a great season on the pitch, as they finished in sixth place in David Moyes’ final season in his first reign.

Marouane Fellaini notched 11 goals, and the likes of Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman also starred.

2021-22

The likes of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin donned the black effort that had an orange sash and sponsor.

Frank Lampard would ultimately guide the Blues to safety after replacing Rafael Benitez, and the Hummel kit was one of the few positives of that campaign as it even managed to make the Cazoo logo look good.

It was a throwback to the 1881-82 shirt, and it was a huge success.
