Hamza Igamane ‘set to clear medical’ after Everton approach
This story includes exclusive opinion from injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar.
Everton are reportedly keen on bringing Rangers attacker Hamza Igamane to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has assessed his fitness record over the last season ahead of a potential medical in the coming weeks.
Igamane only moved to Ibrox last summer but could be on his way out after a successful debut campaign in Scotland.

Igamane expected to clear pre-transfer medical if needed
The Morocco international should not face any issues clearing his medical this summer, according to Dr Brar.

Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
---|---|---|---|
AS FAR Rabat | 59 | 16 | 8 |
Rangers | 46 | 16 | 3 |
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Igamane: “Had an injury-free 2024/25 season and that bodes well for a Premier League club looking to sign him.
“While the adaptation might take a while as he’s moving to a more physical and competitive league, he would at least be acclimatised to the UK weather.
“I also do not see him facing any issues clearing his medical.”

Everton could do with Igamane’s versatility in the final third
Igamane could be a vital utility player for Everton, mirroring Richarlison’s versatility and goal-scoring prowess.
The 22-year-old Moroccan, with 16 goals and three assists in 46 appearances for Rangers, excels as a centre-forward but can also play as a right or left winger, offering tactical flexibility.
His goal conversion rate and flair for scoring headline-grabbing goals echo Richarlison’s dynamic presence.
Igamane’s ability to score and create suits David Moyes’ need for a multi-faceted attacker as the Toffees look to finish in the top half.
His adaptability across forward roles could stabilise their attack, making him a key asset for Premier League survival, which remains the primary goal.
