Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite reacts as new transfer officially confirmed
Jarrad Branthwaite has become a linchpin in the Everton defence since his sensational breakthrough after signing from Carlisle.
The centre back has had his suitors over the summer, with Tottenham credited with serious interest in Branthwaite.
However, the 23-year-old recently signed a new five-year contract to remain at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Now, a transfer has been confirmed away from the North West, and the Englishman has reacted.

Branthwaite responds as transfer confirmed away from Everton
Everton laid down a marker by tying Branthwaite down to a long-term contract in the North West.
The defender is valued highly within the game, and it feels like a matter of time until he receives a regular England chance.
Last season, the centre back made 30 Premier League appearances and was commanding in a duel for the Toffees.

However, the 23-year-old has endured his fair share of injuries on Merseyside, which should be of some concern.
Indeed, Branthwaite did not travel with the rest of the Everton squad to the United States on Wednesday (23 July) as a precaution due to a minor injury.
Now, the former Carlisle United man has reacted as his former Toffees teammate, Ashley Young, has sealed a Championship move.
Young has officially signed as an Ipswich Town player and posted a message on his Instagram page (23 July).
Branthwaite was one of a host of players to like the post, highlighting the popularity of the 40-year-old.
Young can add Championship title to his CV
The Ipswich Town man already boasts a unique CV, having won the Premier League, Serie A, Europa League, and the FA Cup.
Now, he is perfectly poised to add the Championship title to that list with the Tractor Boys.
Kieran McKenna’s side are among the favourites to secure promotion next season and are in an enviable position.
Last summer, Ipswich spent north of £100million and signed some of the second tier’s best players, including Jack Clarke and Sammie Szmodics.
That business means they are set to challenge for the title, and Young can play a significant part in achieving that.
