Samuel Lino exit edges closer amid Everton talk as £21.8m update drops
Samuel Lino has been linked with a move to Everton this summer.
With the Premier League season edging closer, Everton are in need of accelerating their transfer plans over the coming weeks.
Several more additions are needed for the Toffees, who have already bolstered their squad with the signing of Thierno Barry from Villarreal.
Lino had been heavily mooted for a move to Merseyside, with a new update emerging on his future, which appears to be away from Atletico Madrid.

Lino looks set for Atletico exit
With Jack Harrison returning to Leeds after a loan spell at Everton, the Toffees have been in the market for a new winger and had identified Lino as a target.
However, as per a report in Mundo Deportivo’s print edition (page 17, 25 July), a move to Merseyside is now looking unlikely, with Flamengo ready to pay £21.8million to land the signature of the Brazilian.

It is claimed that his exit from Diego Simeone’s side is getting “closer and closer”, with Napoli believed to be ready to match the fee set by Flamengo for Lino, making those two clubs a far more likely destination.
As for Everton, it is becoming clear that they will have to look elsewhere if they are to add another wide option to their squad this summer.

Everton yet to make the most of summer window
David Moyes has done a fantastic job since returning to the club, but the level of progress he can make with the Toffees will largely be determined by the signings they can make between now and the end of August.
This squad is still lacking in several areas, and if the Scotsman is to have his side ready to go for the new campaign, movement needs to happen soon.
The addition of an attacker is a necessity, with other areas of the squad also in need of some attention.
