Juventus want Douglas Luiz exit in days as Everton stance becomes clear
Everton are keen on Juventus outcast Douglas Luiz, who could be on the move very shortly.
Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa last year after excelling in the Premier League, but has struggled to settle in Turin and now wants to leave.
Everton need reinforcements in midfield, and Luiz could be a strong addition as a Premier League-experienced option who can make an impact at both ends of the pitch.
The Brazil international refused to attend training at Juventus, and his exit could now occur in a matter of days.

Juventus want to sell Luiz before pre-season tour
Luiz wants to return to the Premier League, and there are several sides interested alongside Everton, and a move to England is now inevitable.
Juventus bosses are furious with the midfielder for his antics to force a move, with Luiz yet to rejoin the rest of the squad.

Italian outlet Tuttosport (26 July) have now reported that while Luiz is expected to return to Juventus in time for their pre-season tour in Germany next week, the club hierarchy want to speak to him before he meets the squad, and this will likely see them orchestrate an exit before his return to Turin.
However, while the Premier League is Luiz’s desired destination, he is seemingly holding out for a bigger move than the clubs currently interested in him, which means Everton are likely to miss out.

Luiz set to snub Everton
Everton, West Ham and Nottingham Forest are all interested in Luiz, but it appears that he does not want to move to any of them.
It is reported that Luiz wants to join an “elite” club in England, and this could refer to one competing in the UEFA Champions League.
While his stance could change if none of those sides show any interest, Juventus’ desire to sell very soon could mean that Everton miss out on Luiz, and they may need to pivot to other targets.
The 27-year-old could be the ideal signing in midfield given his physicality and goal threat, but Everton should look elsewhere unless his stance changes very quickly.
