Sheffield United line up Tim Iroegbunam deal with Everton as season draws close
Tim Iroegbunam could be on his way out of Everton this summer.
Everton have started to accelerate their transfer plans this summer, and with that will also come decisions on those who currently reside on Merseyside.
Iroegbunam was somewhat of a bit-part player for David Moyes last season, with just five Premier League starts and 21 appearances across all competitions.
Having only joined the Toffees from Aston Villa last summer, the 22-year-old could be on the move again just 13 months later.

Iroegbunam attracts attention from Sheffield United
Given his age, Iroegbunam still has years of development ahead of him, and he could benefit massively from a loan exit this summer.
That is exactly what the Blades are looking to achieve, with a report via Alan Nixon’s Patreon (27 July) stating that he could move to Bramall Lane.

The Championship season starts a week earlier than that of the Premier League, leaving Sheffield United slightly short in time to secure new arrivals.
However, they are said to be aware of the fact that he has admirers from the Premier League, which could make a deal more difficult.
As for Everton, if they do sanction a loan exit, they need to ensure it is to a side where he will get maximum exposure to first-team football, and Sheffield United may be best placed to offer that.

Everton must buy before they move players on
While Iroegbunam would benefit from a loan, Everton need to ensure that they are well equipped to deal with his exit.
Not only him, but if the Toffees are to seek loan moves for some of their fringe players, they need to bring new faces through the door.
Several deals remain in the pipeline for Everton, and with a few weeks until the campaign gets underway, time is still on their side to push those transfers through.
