Aznou transfer to Everton in ‘final stages’, will fly to Atlanta as medical set

Everton could soon announce their fourth signing of this summer transfer window in Bayern Munich defender Adam Aznou.

David Moyes’ team will face West Ham United at Soldier Field on 30 July in their second game of the Premier League Summer Series.

Aznou is wanted at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the Toffees have agreed a £7.8million deal with the Bundesliga giants for him.

With the 19-year-old set to undergo his medical, the Blues hope their plans for him materialise.

Everton hope to have Aznou in Atlanta after progress over transfer with Bayern

Aznou could join the Toffees on their United States tour if everything goes to plan, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The news outlet reports (28 July) that the left-back may join his new teammates in Atlanta, the Blues’ training base for the final stages of the Premier League Summer Series, should everything go to plan.

It’s been claimed that the Merseyside outfit’s move for the 19-year-old is entering the “final stages” following progress in talks with Bayern.

The Morocco international is set to undergo his medical and could be Moyes’ fourth signing of the summer.

Moyes needs more than Aznou transfer at Bramley-Moore Dock

Moyes seemingly urged The Friedkin Group (TFG) to make further additions at the Toffees in the ongoing transfer window after defeat against Bournemouth on 26 July at the MetLife Stadium.

The Scottish manager has been forced to take several young players with him to the US due to a lack of personnel in the first-team squad.

Carlos Alcaraz’s move from Flamengo to the Blues was made permanent after an impressive loan spell at Goodison Park.

Everton then signed Thierno Barry from Villarreal to address their lack of depth in the forward line, but more additions are evidently needed.

Aznou will likely replace Ashley Young in the squad and possibly serve as backup to Vitalii Mykolenko in the upcoming campaign.

The 19-year-old Moroccan defender can’t be the last addition at the Merseyside outfit, with reinforcements certainly needed in several other positions.
