Hakimi sends message after Everton transfer news officially confirmed
Everton are expected to be active in the last few weeks of the transfer market.
The Blues added the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry and Mark Travers, but more signings are needed.
David Moyes is unhappy with the pace of their business so far and called for new additions after the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth.
It seems like the Friedkin Group are listening to their manager as the Toffees have confirmed their fourth signing of the summer.

Hakimi reacts as Aznou move to Everton confirmed
Everton have announced the signing of Bayern Munich left-back Adam Aznou (29 July) in a deal believed to be worth £8million.
Aznou sent a message to Blues supporters after the deal was confirmed, saying: “I’m very happy to sign for Everton, I’m really looking forward to getting started and giving my all for this club! Up the Toffees!”
Paris Saint-Germain star and Morocco teammate Achraf Hakimi reacted to his compatriot’s post by liking it and commenting, saying: “Congratulations, let’s gooooo,” along with a blue heart emoji.
Who is new Everton signing Adam Aznou?
Aznou is a 19-year-old left-back who was born in Barcelona, Spain on 2 June 2006.
He started his career in the CF Damm academy before moving to Barcelona’s famous La Masia in 2019, spending three years with the Spanish giants.
In the summer of 2022, he joined Bayern Munich and made his debut for the senior team in a 3-0 Bundesliga win over Union Berlin in November 2024.
He would feature for the German giants on a further three occasions, and spent half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Real Valladolid, playing 13 times for the Spanish side.
- CF Damm – 2015-2019
- Barcelona – 2019-22
- Bayern Munich 2022-25
- Real Valladolid (loan) – 2024-25
Aznou has been capped three times by his country, where he has played alongside Hakimi twice.
He will compete for the starting role with Vitaliy Mykolenko, and given that he has had to compete wherever he has been, he will fancy his chances of beating the Ukrainian.
He is not scared to fly into tackles, and that will endear him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium faithful in no time, once he gets his chance.
Given his tall but slight frame, it will likely take him time to adapt to the demands of the Premier League but once he does, he could become a star for the Toffees.
