Everton have already lined up next bid as Dibling offer made
Everton are aiming to strengthen their options on the wings, and have made Tyler Dibling a key target.
Dibling enjoyed a strong breakout campaign last season despite Southampton’s woeful campaign, and has attracted interest from a lot of clubs.
Everton need more options in attack after letting the likes of Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison leave, and Dibling could be a strong addition.
A formal approach has been made for the teenager, but Everton’s pursuit of Dibling is far from over as things stand.

Everton to return after bid for Dibling rejected
Everton have now formally made a bid for Dibling, but the Championship side have instantly rejected their first offer.
Paul Joyce has now reported via X (31 July) that a bid of around £27million was sent to Southampton for Dibling, but this has been turned down immediately.
Southampton previously held a stance that Dibling would cost an extortionate fee, but this seems to have softened, and Everton are clearly confident that a deal can be reached.

They are now considering a new offer for Dibling, but it is unclear what kind of fee will be needed to convince the Saints to part ways with the winger.
However, it seems likely that the Toffees will return with a fresh offer.
Everton must show caution over Dibling interest
Dibling caught the eye as a promising young talent for Southampton last season, but with two goals in 33 league games, he is far from being a proven goal machine at the top level.
Everton’s lack of depth and experience in attacking areas means that there will already be pressure on Dibling to deliver immediately if he is signed for a big fee.
The Toffees have recruited young players such as Thierno Barry, while letting Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin leave, and there may be a concern over where the goals will come from if these youngsters do not hit the ground running.
If Dibling is signed in conjunction with a more experienced attacker such as Jack Grealish, then this could be an excellent long-term signing, but if the finances stretch too far, then Everton must consider other targets.
