Everton update emerges on Dibling transfer after second Southampton offer
Southampton forward Tyler Dibling could potentially be affected as Everton look to sign him this summer.
The Toffees want the 19-year-old on Merseyside after his impressive form with the Saints.
David Moyes could have Dibling at Everton soon, with the English youngster keen on moving to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Southampton have rejected the Merseyside outfit’s latest offer of more than £35million, and the forward may have to push for an exit from St Mary’s.

Dibling’s transfer to Everton is under threat
Southampton could potentially force the Toffees to pull the plug on signing Dibling, according to BBC Sport.
The news outlet reports (4 August) that the Blues are considering walking away from a deal for the 19-year-old if the Saints’ valuation doesn’t drop.
- Dibling has been at Southampton for three years.
- The Saints want £40m for the 19-year-old.
- In the previous campaign, the forward scored two goals and provided one assist in 33 Premier League games.
While the Merseyside outfit have been in negotiations with the Hampshire outfit for Dibling, it remains to be seen whether the two parties can come to an agreement.
The English winger will arguably want to play in the Premier League next season, and may have to put pressure on the Championship club to sell him.

The Friedkin Group finally get to work at Hill Dickinson Stadium
The Friedkin Group (TFG) have let Moyes down this summer after a lack of transfer activity.
Adam Aznou became the Toffees’ fourth signing of the ongoing window, but there’s an evident need for several quality players in L5.
The Blues are closing in on their fifth addition of the summer after reaching an agreement with Chelsea for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Championship | 44 | 12 | 14 |
TFG have taken their time at Everton, but Moyes could potentially be getting some exciting players before the end of August.
Supporters will be hoping to see a much more competitive team under the Scottish manager next season, with hopes of qualifying for Europe not out of reach.
It feels like the Blues are playing the waiting game to force Southampton to lower their valuation for Dibling, but only time will tell how the situation will unfold.
