‘This is what I’ve heard about new Everton poster boy Jack Grealish’
Everton are a step closer to signing Manchester City star Jack Grealish.
David Moyes is keen to bring fresh impetus to the Blues’ attack, and Grealish fits the bill for the Scotsman.
The Friedkin Group have backed Moyes so far in the transfer market, but the former England star would be their best business yet.
The Toffees could be set to nab the 29-year-old’s services after a new update emerged.

Goodison News presents the exclusive opinion of iconic football commentator Ian Darke.
Everton to make a statement with Grealish signing
Grealish is reportedly keen on a move to Everton, and the two clubs are negotiating the terms of a loan deal after he reached an agreement with the Blues, according to a new update.
Darke believes that it would be a great addition for Moyes’ side and revealed what he has heard about his fitness.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “It’s a brilliant statement signing, which will excite fans.
“Grealish can be the poster boy for a new era at Everton, I hear he’s very fit after extensive summer conditioning work.
“You’d expect him to be given license to be the playmaker No. 10 as he was in earlier days at Villa.
“He became becalmed at City playing in something of a tactical straitjacket on the left, this move gives him a chance to relaunch his career and challenge to regain his England place.
“The only question is whether he can turn the clock back to those days as a free spirit at Villa.”
Grealish can thrive at Everton
The ex-Three Lions ace may just need a change of scenery to turn his career around.
As Darke states, he has been shifted to the left flank by Guardiola, which has hampered his creative abilities as a maverick 10.
- Grealish started just seven Premier League matches last season, with a total of 20 appearances
- He scored one goal and notched one assist
Moyes can bring the best out of him again at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and free him from the shackles that have been placed upon him at the Etihad Stadium.
A player with his ability and experience has the ability to take Everton to a completely new level, and it is a very exciting addition.
If what Darke has heard is correct, and Grealish has been working to get to peak fitness levels, he could be the shining light on the blue half of Merseyside.
