Everton’s next new signing after Jack Grealish revealed as Australian arrives on Merseyside
Everton have remained active in the transfer window going into the new Premier League season.
Jack Grealish has now officially become a Toffee after weeks of speculation regarding the England international.
However, on top of first-team signings, the Merseyside club have also been keen to strengthen their academy.
Multiple young stars have recently signed new deals, with Ray Robert among several players to extend their Toffees contracts.
Now, Moyes is targeting further signings to secure Everton’s long-term future.

Everton look to offer Lachlan Allen a contract
Lachlan Allen is considered to be one of the best upcoming goalkeepers in Australia.
The 16-year-old has received rave reviews, with the West Sydney Wanderers talents full of potential.
Now, according to Alan Nixon’s Patreon on 12 August, Everton are set to offer Allen a deal to join their academy.
The goalkeeper is already in Merseyside and has been with the Toffees for a week.
This has even seen him play against a PFA free agent side to show he can face the seniors.
With Allen wanting to continue his development in England, Everton are keen to offer Allen a new home in their academy before fast-tracking him into the first team squad.

Moyes is preparing for Jordan Pickford’s eventual exit
While it may not happen for a number of years, Moyes is clearly preparing for the exit of Jordan Pickford.
Everton’s number one is set to turn 32 years old next year, and the question remains as to how long he can continue to perform at the highest level.
The Toffees are reportedly set to offer Pickford a four-year deal soon, but this could well be his last at the Merseyside club.
Stat | Jordan Pickford |
Appearances | 38 |
Goals conceded | 44 |
Clean sheets | 12 |
By this point, Allen would likely be ready for first-team action and could well take over the Englishman between the sticks.
While it will be sad to see Pickford depart the Toffees, it is good to see that Moyes has a long-term plan in place for the England international’s successor.
