Everton told how much to pay to seal Tyler Dibling transfer after Grealish in new offer

Everton are determined to sign more players after Jack Grealish, with Southampton forward Tyler Dibling firmly in their sights.

The Friedkin Group (TFG) wanted the Manchester City forward at Bramley-Moore Dock and have been able to pull off the ambitious loan signing.

Dibling is another target at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but the Blues had seemingly walked away from a potential deal after failing to strike an agreement with the Saints.

The Merseyside outfit look adamant to push through with more additions to David Moyes’ team in the coming weeks, and the 19-year-old may still be on his way to L5.

Dibling counter-offer could be accepted by Everton

Southampton have now made a counter offer to the Toffees for Dibling’s transfer, and it is slightly lower than their previous valuation, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Sky Sports journalist revealed on X on 13 August that the Blues can sanction the Saints’ demand “at any time” to trigger the deal.

It’s been claimed that the Hampshire outfit want between £47.5million and £56m for the English youngster, and the final fee could potentially hit the former price tag.

Having already spent a hefty sum on Grealish’s wages from Man City, it will be interesting to see whether TFG will splash the cash once again for another attacking addition.

Who will Moyes axe after Dibling transfer?

Dibling has shown enormous potential at Southampton, and Moyes will be hoping to bring the best out of him in L5.

The 19-year-old will undoubtedly want guaranteed minutes at the Toffees to further his development and reach the ceiling of his talent.

Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom heavily featured on the right wing for the Blues last season, but they both returned to their parent clubs.

Everton have played Dwight McNeil on the right side of the attack during pre-season, but the 25-year-old will be looking over his shoulder if Dibling arrives.

Moyes could potentially boast a talented front line at the Merseyside outfit, with the Southampton youngster and Iliman Ndiaye on either wing, Grealish playing as a number 10, and Thierno Barry as the striker.

The 19-year-old’s situation at St Mary’s is one to keep an eye on as the Toffees are building a team that may challenge for a European spot in the Premier League next season.
