Everton advance talks to sign Tom King as Moyes set for another transfer

Everton are hoping to complete a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Tom King in the coming days.

The 30-year-old would become the Toffees’ seventh signing of the summer, after Jack Grealish signed from Manchester City on Tuesday, 12 August.

Everton have already signed one goalkeeper this summer in Mark Travers, who arrived in a deal worth £4million from Bournemouth.

And King’s arrival could open the door for Harry Tyrer to exit, with Blackpool among the clubs keen to sign the 23-year-old.

The fee that will see King join David Moyes’ options is described as nominal, and the goalkeeper is expected to become the third choice.
