Everton news round-up: David Moyes finds leak as Friedkin Group agreement emerges
Everton still have a lot of work to do in the transfer market.
The Blues were defeated 1-0 by newly-promoted Leeds United in their opening Premier League match and need significant reinforcements to their squad.
The Friedkin Group have backed David Moyes so far with the likes of Thierno Barry, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish, but more is needed.
Here, Goodison News rounds up the latest Everton updates on 21 August.

Everton tipped to beat Celtic to a typical David Moyes transfer
Everton have been backed to seal an agreement for Jamie Vardy over Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic.
Former Blues scout Bryan King believes that a free transfer swoop for the ex-Leicester star would be a “typical” Moyes move.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “I think that would be a typical David Moyes move.
“You couldn’t get any better in terms of scoring goals than Vardy, he’s been doing it ever since he came from non-league.
“The thing with Celtic, of course, is that his old manager is up there in Brendan Rodgers.
“If I were Everton, I’d be interested in Vardy because he’ll score goals this season, I’m sure of that, no matter who he goes to.”

Everton need to move quickly for Tyler Dibling
Everton will have to move urgently if they are to sign Tyler Dibling from Southampton.
Saints boss Will Still admitted that he is not sure what Dibling’s future holds amid links with Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
Spurs have been linked with the 19-year-old after missing out on Eberechi Eze, and Still opened up on that in his pre-match press conference.
He said: “I don’t. I have no idea. You’d have to ask Palace, Arsenal or Tottenham.
“I read all this stuff at the same moment you guys do, and I saw Sky Sports News at eight o’clock this morning with breaking news.”
David Moyes may have found his leak at Everton
Moyes may have identified the source of leaked Everton news after a recent update.
Reports had linked the Toffees with a move for Manchester City defender Nathan Ake, but that interest has been played down.
BBC reporter Guilia Bould claimed on 21 August that the Dutchman is not a target for the Hill Dickinson Stadium club.
If that is indeed the case, the supposed interest may have been leaked to find the person who was providing information that angered the Scotsman.
Friedkin Group strike historic Everton agreement
The Friedkin Group have struck a historic Everton agreement that could benefit the Merseysiders in the long run.
Everton announced on 21 August that they have formed a strategic partnership with Japanese club Nagoya Grampus.
The deal could unlock new avenues in terms of revenue, new supporters from the Asian market and secure some of the best youngsters for the future.
