Jack Grealish pathway into England team becomes clear after stunning Everton form
Jack Grealish is surely set for an England recall in the near future.
The Everton loan star has not featured for the Three Lions since the 3-1 win over Finland in October 2024, a game in which he scored the opening goal.
Grealish has not been selected by Thomas Tuchel for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers with Andorra and Serbia.
Everton’s new star man Grealish cannot be left out for much longer after starting the season in tremendous form.

Jack Grealish warned about England issue
Grealish has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month after notching four assists in August.
BBC reporter Sami Mokbel believes it is only a matter of time before the Blues ace gets back into Tuchel’s plans, but warned that he faces an issue.
In a Q&A on 5 September, he said: “In terms of Grealish, I don’t think it will be too long until he gets a recall, if he continues performing at the level he has started the new season.
“An issue might be that Tuchel, as I understand it, views Grealish as a central attacker of which the German has options – Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham among others – but he won’t be able to ignore Grealish if his early form continues.”

Thomas Tuchel must use Jack Grealish on the flanks
The issue that has been raised by Mokbel should not be a problem, Tuchel should see that Grealish has thrived on the flanks for the Toffees.
David Moyes has utilised him from the left wing, giving him the freedom to roam into dangerous positions, and he has seen major results.
- Grealish has made three appearances for Everton
- He has four assists in 197 minutes of football
- Has 39 caps for England, with four goals and eight assists
He should not be fighting with Palmer and Bellingham for an attacking midfield slot, he should be beating the likes of Marcus Rashford and former Blues star Anthony Gordon to a spot on the wing.
The pathway back into the national team is clear for Grealish, but it is not as a number 10, as Tuchel sees him.
Tuchel needs to reconsider his approach. Why take a player who is thriving and change his position?
It usually does not work when that happens, and given the magical form that the Blues ace is in, he must be in the squad, but not in the way that Tuchel wants him to be.
