Jordan Pickford will surely smash Seamus Coleman record as Everton contract talks underway
Jordan Pickford is set to sign a new contract at Everton.
Pickford is beloved by supporters at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, due to his passionate performances on the pitch and his brilliant shot-stopping ability.
David Moyes sees Pickford as a key part of his Everton team, and that is reflected in the fact that the Blues want to keep him around for the rest of his career.
He is set to be offered terms to stay with Everton beyond his 36th birthday, which would be a five-year deal for the England star.

Jordan Pickford will overtake Seamus Coleman’s Everton record
Seamus Coleman is Everton’s record Premier League appearance maker with 370 matches played in the competition.
However, given the fact that Pickford is already on 296 since joining the Toffees from Sunderland in 2017, he will surely smash that record.
The 31-year-old needs just 75 more matches to break Coleman‘s record, so he would have to play all 35 remaining league games this season, the full 38 next season, then two in the 2027/28 campaign to become the new holder as soon as possible. Coleman, of course, is still playing, though, and could extend his own record a little more.
However, if Pickford were at the Blues for the next five years, he would not even have to play in all of those matches to achieve the record, so there may not be as much urgency.

Jordan Pickford is an Everton legend in the making
Pickford will go down as one of the greatest players to ever wear the Blues shirt. His contributions to helping the club remain in the top flight have been second to none in the last few years.
With Moyes hoping to push on and qualify for Europe, Pickford will remain a key part of his plans, and will further immortalise himself if those aims are achieved.
If he can bring a trophy back to the Hill Dickinson Stadium and help end a drought that goes back to the 1995 FA Cup, he will cement his legendary status.
Even if he does not achieve any of that, he is still a massive part of the fabric of the club, and will be remembered fondly for years to come after he eventually hangs up his boots, as will Coleman.
