Aston Villa early team news vs Everton: Two ruled out, Harvey Elliott could debut
Harvey Elliott could make his Aston Villa debut against Everton on Saturday.
David Moyes‘ side will be looking to build on an impressive start to the campaign on 13 September at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton have won their last two Premier League matches, with a 2-0 home victory against Brighton and a 3-2 away win at Wolves.
The international break came at the worst time, as it may have halted their momentum with Jack Grealish in fine form for Everton, before the interruption.

Aston Villa star Amadou Onana to miss out on Everton return
Everton sold Amadou Onana to Villa for £50million in 2024 to ease their Profit and Sustainability concerns.
According to a report from Give Me Sport on 5 September, the Belgian midfielder is set to miss the contest against his former club.
It states that Boubacar Kamara will also be out through injury, but Elliott, who was signed on loan with an obligation to buy from the Toffees’ arch-rivals Liverpool, is available.

Everton have a great opportunity to beat Aston Villa
Unai Emery will be devastated to be without two of his star midfielders, and the Toffees can take advantage of the Spaniard’s woes.
Villa have had a miserable start to the campaign, losing all three matches and not even scoring a single goal in the process.
- Villa drew 0-0 at home to Newcastle on the opening weekend
- Lost 1-0 to Brentford away from home in their second match
- Hammered 3-0 by Crystal Palace in their last contest
Moyes and Co. will be hoping to compound their misery when the sides meet once the break is over, and they have every chance given the players that Emery’s side are missing and the form that they are in.
The idea that Elliott could haunt them is certainly one that will be in Blues supporters’ minds ahead of the clash, but they should have enough to overcome last year’s Champions League participants on this occasion.
It would be an impressive scalp for the Merseysiders and show the progress that Moyes has made since replacing Sean Dyche in the dugout in January.
