How much Everton could pay Jordan Pickford in wages as new contract on cards
Jordan Pickford is set to be offered fresh terms at Everton.
Everton want to reward Pickford for his contributions, with a bumper new five-year deal on the cards that would keep the England star around until after his 36th birthday.
Pickford is understood to be keen to stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, where he has forged a reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Pickford has saved Everton on multiple occasions, and it is unlikely that Mark Travers or Tom King will be able to oust him anytime soon.
Jordan Pickford deserves heavy wage increase at Everton
Pickford could break an Everton record held by Seamus Coleman for Premier League appearances for the Toffees, and he deserves a wage befitting of his status.
The Three Lions ace is currently the Blues’ second-highest paid player, according to Capology, as he is on a reported £125,000-per-week.
He would surely want an increase on that amount, with £175,000-per-week, a realistic amount for his pay rise, would cost the Toffees a total of £9,100,000 per year in this example.
If he does indeed sign a five-year deal, that would amount to a staggering £45.5m over the course of the contract, but it could be lower than that.
How would Jordan Pickford rank amongst Everton earners?
Pickford is already the second-best-paid player on the blue half of Merseyside, with only Jack Grealish understood to be on more than him, with a reported £250,000-a-week pay packet with the Blues.
If Grealish sticks around beyond his season-long loan spell, he would likely stay above Pickford in the rankings, but the former Sunderland stopper would be closer to the Manchester City loanee.

If the 29-year-old does not make his loan stay a permanent one, then Pickford would become the highest earner for the Blues.
Either way, he would have a wage that is worthy of a player of his reputation as England’s starting stopper and his importance to Moyes’ side, and would be happy staying for the rest of his footballing days.
Pickford has plenty of time left at the top level, and it would be worth every penny for the Friedkin Group.
