Jordan Pickford ‘to seal Everton pay rise’ as new contract reveal emerges
Jordan Pickford has been one of Everton’s most important players in recent years.
Since the goalkeeper joined the Toffees from Sunderland back in 2017, he has gone on to play for the Merseyside club over 300 times.
Here, he has been vital to ensuring that Everton maintains their Premier League status while also keeping his spot as England’s number one.
Now, after Pickford matched Gordon Banks’ legendary England feat in the 5-0 victory over Serbia, the goalkeeper could be rewarded by David Moyes.

Dan Plumley: Jordan Pickford on track for pay rise
Over the international break, it became clear that Everton want to hand Pickford a new contract.
The aim is to ensure that Pickford stays at Everton for the rest of his career after continuing to impress. However, this is likely to come at a financial cost.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dan Plumley explained that he expects Pickford to get a pay rise if a deal is confirmed.

He said: “You would anticipate it. His stock is certainly still high; he is still the number one goalkeeper, and he has been there for a long time.
“They are looking forward to the new era and have had a successful start to the season in relative terms as well.
“All of these things factor in, and he is clearly their number one goalkeeper, and if you are going to offer a new contract, reward some of that loyalty and look to secure that position, you’d anticipate there will be a pay rise for Jordan Pickford.”

How much does Jordan Pickford currently earn at Everton?
According to Capology on 10 September, Pickford is currently earning £125,000-a-week at the Toffees.
This is based on the deal he signed in February 2023, with the 31-year-old currently contracted until 2027.
This is currently the highest wage of any player at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on a permanent deal, with Jack Grealish clearly earning higher.
Below the goalkeeper are Idrissa Gueye and Jarrad Branthwaite, who are both on £120,000-a-week, with the Friedkins moving to secure their biggest names already.
