Dewsbury-Hall has ‘noticed’ major Jack Grealish change at Everton after ‘stupid’ Man City antics

Jack Grealish’s addition at Everton has proved to be a masterstroke by David Moyes.

The winger has made an instant impact at the Toffees, picking up four assists in his first three Premier League matches.

As a result, Grealish has received high praise for his Everton performances, with the Manchester City loanee even being nominated for Premier League Player of the Month for August.

Now, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has weighed in on his thoughts on the winger ahead of the clash against Aston Villa.

Jack Grealish is one of the first in and the last out at training

As a result of his recent performances, the spotlight is no doubt on the 30-year-old once again.

The winger had been awful at Man City for months, struggling to even pick up a goal contribution at the former Premier League champions.

While this could be down to many factors, Grealish had previously told BBC Sport on 1 December 2022 that some of his antics were idiotic when looking back on his controversy with Miguel Almiron.

“I do stupid stuff, that was one,” Grealish said of the incident.

However, ever since his move to Everton, Grealish has been looking to get his career back on track, especially with the World Cup now less than a year away.

This is clearly proving to be paying off, with the winger easily one of the most in-form players in the Premier League at the moment.

When asked about Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall told The Athletic on 12 September that Grealish is in great shape.

“One thing I’ve noticed is Jack’s one of the first in and one of the last out at training every day,” fellow new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall said.

“He’s always doing the recovery, doing the right things, ice baths, massages, putting himself in the best possible position to perform for the team. And look, he’s played three games this week, which is a credit to him. He’s kept himself in the right shape.”

On top of this, the 30-year-old is also surprisingly good at defending, winning back possession at an astonishing rate.

Therefore, while his attacking play certainly gets all the praise, his defensive work may go under the radar.
