Erling Haaland sends Jack Grealish message after Everton announcement
Jack Grealish has been a sensational addition for Everton so far.
Grealish joined David Moyes‘ side on a season-long loan from Manchester City, and he has already notched four assists in three matches.
Grealish could create history in the Aston Villa clash on September 13, but he is already in the Everton history books.
He is knocking on Thomas Tuchel’s door for a place in his England squad for the 2026 World Cup, which takes place next summer.

Grealish was named as the Premier League Player of the Month for August, becoming the first Toffees star to win it since Dominic Calvert-Lewin in September 2020.
Grealish took to Instagram on 12 September to send a message after the announcement, saying: “Delighted to be named Premier League player of the month in my first month at this brilliant club.
“Thank you, Toffees, for the welcome, and we keep on pushing. See you all tomorrow.”
Haaland reacted by commenting on the post with two prayer emojis and a blue heart, while Declan Rice commented with three clapping hands.
Liverpool ace Curtis Jones liked the post, alongside fellow England star Morgan Rogers, and Blues teammates Jordan Pickford and Dwight McNeil.
Everton revival is just the start for Jack Grealish
Grealish’s initial revival could be just the start for the 30-year-old, and he could take his game up another level in the next few months.
He has finally been given the freedom to play the way that he wants by Moyes, having been stuck in Pep Guardiola’s rigid system for years.
- Grealish made 20 appearances for City last season in the league, with one goal and one assist
- He has played three times for Everton, notching four assists
- He will fancy his chances of beating the three goals and five assists that he got in all competitions last time out
That has seen Grealish thrive, and he is expected to maintain those levels as the Blues push for European qualification.
If he can manage that, he should be guaranteed a place on the plane for the World Cup, so he has extra motivation.
The fact that the likes of Haaland and even Reds star Jones are reacting to his posts shows how much football fans around the world are loving the former Villa ace’s revival with the Toffees.
